Project Runway 4, Episode Four
As for the contest, this has the orange-stained hands of Michael Kors all over. Manolo says, ayyyy! Poor Chris, the Manolo was not ready for you to leave. Indeed, he found you to be among the most tolerable of this season's personalities, especially when compared to the perpetually weepy/bitchy/whiney/annoying/moderately- untalented Ricky.

Ensemble du Jour
The Outfit On Monday I decided to push the envelope a little bit and really start wearing the knee socks more, so I wore my '06 JCrew tan sweater with the lion crest (with little orange crown to tie back to the bag), a brown skirt and tan/taupe knee socks from SockDreams.com. That is the good thing with these shoes.

Designer Focus - Olivia Rose Tal
ended up purchasing these orange and brown silk mules with jeweled buckles. When we visited Asheville , I found a small shoe store which I didn't know existed (I'll feature them later) and something amazing happened. found out about a designer that I had never heard of! was so intrigued and excited. almost bought these.

Ensemble du Jour
so today I combined dark orange with these burgundy Aerosoles. wanted to pull through that orange and red into more of the outfit, besides my red hair , so I wore a fun beaded ring that has a a mix of crystals in reds, pinks, golds, greens and purples. It's about 5" wide and the color is a very rust reddish orange with tinges of pink.

The Southern California Fires
Earlier this afternoon, Glinda at the Teeny Manolo , who lives in Orange County, sent the Manolo this following message. Manolo says, the Manolo has been driven to absolute distraction and despair by the fires raging in Southern California. Our power has been out since 10:30pm last night, and it isn't looking good. Fun times.

Plus I changed purses from my big brown purse to my orange Hermes. love orange for accessories just not for clothes (for me) as much. want to get an orange Hermes scarf but I haven't found a pattern I'm dying for yet, so I'm using my vintage scarf. It's cold and grey and so I'm rebelling by wearing lots and lots of color.
