I am still stunned from Thursday’s news of the apparent suicide of Alexander McQueen. He was the one designer that caused me to start really paying attention to couture fashion and to hunt online to find more images of his designs.  even remember the show that did it for me. Fall 2006. Sure, I had been aware of Alexander McQueen in general.

Days of Intention - Day Twelve: Speak Up
We began eating vegetarian towards the end of 2008 but this really carried into 2009 on a deeper level. Scenario: This past year has been big for transformations. feel we've really learned a lot and helped a lot of other people think of what they are eating and how they are eating and how easy it can be to think of food in a new way.

    Like the sympathetic Harvey Dent from Batman: The Dark Knight , this Moschino Cheap and Chic Fall 2009 shoe is part dark boot and part happy, summertime sandal.   Even an version of the wedge with ruffles didn’t raise an eyebrow since it reminded me of the lace and ruffle collection from the Prada Fall 2008 show.

    The defining description for shoes featured in 2008 runway collections is: snubbed toes.  The shoes featured in Valentino’s 2008 Couture were not wonderful, but I noticed Dior began playing with heel and shoe silhouettes in their couture line.  I am sorry this posting was late.  Who am I fooling? wanted to go, too.     with were these boyish gold oxfords that Kelly Wearstler was wearing on the Domino October 2008 cover. Maybe I need to plan on doing more in 2009.
