Fashion Forward?
It was raining/snowing out and (being still sick) I had dressed pretty simply - black sweater dress, the tights and black patent mary janes. Tags: joy of socks pattern inspiration fashion blue tights I had sort of a sad encounter yesterday. was at Panera grabbing a bagel and a lady commented on the fact that she liked my tights.

Asheville Weekend Outfit at French Broad Chocolate Lounge
The skies were blue, it was cool but not cold and the leaves were perfectly red and gold everywhere. Instead of wearing the typical jeans and a sweater, I grabbed my new stripey dress from Anthropologie and, even though it is a great Summer dress, when it's paired with grey tights and a cozy over-sized cardigan, it's perfect for Fall.

Sweet Surprises
They made their way over the big blue ocean and landed on my table last night. In the end I pulled in pink, blue, fuschia, silk, tulle, damask and vintage pearls to create a look that I think captures the spirit of the collection using items I had already. Yesterday was a day filled with so many great surprises. What could it be?

Since the tights are sort of match-y with the sweater, I wanted to keep from a dark blue shoe - which would be way to match-y since the skirt is a dark denim color. The Outfit I've decided that I don't care if it's technically still summer. want to wear some argyle and tights! Argyle v-neck and skirt from Target. Seriously!

The dress was simple, a short black sweater dress and I'm in all black and white but the accessories are unique so they stood out. One pair were baby blue fishnets and the other were these fleur de lis lace stockings. Tags: sweater dress stockings black Ann Demeulemeester lace paraphernalia Can you blame them?

I'm wearing an argyle v-neck sweater and a black skirt with my new black andwhite graphic heels. The sweater is a bright royal blue with an aqua, green and cream pattern. actually added one of my shoe clips in green to tie the shoes to the sweater. The Outfit Today's outfit has a mix of patterns and colors.

Ensemble du Jour
The skirt is a chevron black and white pattern skirt and I wore a bright azure light sweater, both from JCrew. The Outfit Today I wore another outfit that I never got around to wearing when I went to New York. This was to be something I wore walking around the city. In the end, I just didn't need it. Oh well. felt all bare.

love the portrait collar and, of course, the light blue-grey color. The cuffs, with two pearlescent blue button, come in tight to the wrist. The other day I went to a great vintage store here in my area. hadn't been there before and actually didn't even know it existed. Here is the nightgown. It's a rayon gown that goes to shin length.

It just happened that my grey vintage peep-toes were out and on top of the stack so I quickly grabbed a few pieces to work around them. peep-toes

paired it with an argyle v-neck sweater in purple and tan tones. The dark blue denim goes really well with the dark purples. The Outfit So, inspite of trying to not buy more clothes I did get a new pencil skirt from Target. It's like a dressy lightweight denim and has a cute slit up the front. Happy Friday

So as I mentioned, we were doing a bit of post-holiday shopping today so I actually had to get dressed instead of loafing around the house in either my yoga pants and high school sweater or my bathrobe. The Outfit This is what I wore yesterday: an argyle sweater in greys and blues with a pleated dress denim skirt from Target. They're light blue, pink and gold wingtip spectator heels with dark bottle green enameled heels. So work has been ridiculous this week and then I've had to go to meetings almost every night.

Perriwinkle blue cable-knit sweater from Target, grey corduroy skirt from Old Navy, my new favorite Champagne necklace. The Outfit Doesn't this look sort of bland here in my tame little Polyvore? At least the pink pony hair heels add a bit of pop, so we'll give you that. But otherwise, nothing much. Right???? Crazy color and material.
